Brazil U-17 Meets Indonesia in 2025 U-17 World Cup

According to the official draw held by FIFA yesterday evening, the Brazil U-17 national team, considered one of the tournament favorites, has been placed in Group H alongside Indonesia for the upcoming 2025 U-17 World Cup set to take place this November in Qatar.

This anticipated matchup promises high tension and global attention as Indonesia’s young squad faces off against the five-time champions at youth level.

Ancelotti Arrives in Brazil Amid U-17 Draw

Interestingly, the draw coincided with the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti in Brazil — the newly appointed head coach of Brazil’s senior national team. The former Real Madrid boss officially landed in Brazil to begin his tenure, expected to run until the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) sent two key representatives to Qatar to attend the draw ceremony:

  • Dudu Patetuci – U-17 Team Coach

  • Matheus Maricato – Team Supervisor

Tough Group Awaits Brazil and Indonesia

Aside from Indonesia, Brazil U-17 will also compete against Honduras and Zambia in what promises to be a competitive Group H.

This group stage is poised to test the tactical depth of the Selecao’s youth squad, while offering a major opportunity for Indonesia U-17 to make a bold statement on the world stage.
