Brazil Meets Indonesia in U-17 World Cup 2025 as Ancelotti Arrives

Coinciding with the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti in Brazil, FIFA officially conducted the U-17 World Cup 2025 draw in Qatar, where Brazil and Indonesia were placed in the same group, according to Bolasport.com.

The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) sent two key figures to the draw event:

  • Dudu Patetuci – U-17 Head Coach

  • Matheus Maricato – Team Supervisor

The draw placed Brazil in Group H, alongside the following teams:

  • Honduras

  • Indonesia

  • Zambia

Historic First Encounter Between Brazil and Indonesia

This matchup will mark the first-ever official meeting between Brazil and Indonesia across all age levels in international competition.

Brazil’s U-17 squad, often dubbed the Samba Boys, is determined to reclaim the title after falling short in the 2023 edition hosted in Indonesia.

Ancelotti’s Arrival Signals New Era in Brazilian Football

The tournament draw comes just as Carlo Ancelotti officially arrived in Brazil to begin his tenure as head coach of the senior national team, a role he will hold through to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Coach Dudu Patetuci is expected to hold strategic meetings with Ancelotti to align philosophies and foster synergy between the youth and senior teams as Brazil prepares for a new generation of football excellence.
