Brad Pitt reveals emotional journey after Formula 1 movie filming

Brad Pitt reveals his emotional state ahead of the Formula 1 film release — Hollywood’s ambitious motorsport project premiering this month.

“This is my last drive for the film. I might get a little misty about it… You might see some tears. It’s been a hell of an experience,” Pitt disclosed in a recently released video.

During filming at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Hollywood star acknowledged his difficulty leaving the racing world behind — even acting scenes felt less engaging compared to the experience behind the wheel.

Inspired by Paul Newman who started racing at age 54, Pitt expressed interest in continuing racing after this film, following the path of actors like Patrick Dempsey and Michael Fassbender.

In the film, Pitt portrays Sonny Hayes — a former F1 driver returning to the struggling APXGP team, partnering with Joshua Pearce played by Damson Idris.

The Formula 1 film will release globally on June 25 and two days later in the United States.
