Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are set to lock horns once again in the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, duking it out at the Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys in a match scheduled for early Thursday morning (local time).

Both teams advanced to the knockout stages with commanding displays: Barcelona comfortably defeated Benfica 4-1 on aggregate, while Dortmund edged past Lille 3-2 over two legs.

This marks their second meeting this season. In the group stage four months ago, Barcelona secured a narrow 3-2 victory at Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park. The Catalan side remains in formidable form under the leadership of Hansi Flick and enters the tie as favorites to progress to the semifinals.

On the other hand, Die Borussen face an uphill battle against the Blaugrana, which worsened by the absence of key defender Nico Schlotterbeck, who sustained a serious injury recently.
