Borneo FC held to draw by PSM Makassar in Liga 1

In the week 29 match of Liga 1 2024/25, Borneo FC had to settle for a point with PSM Makassar at home — both teams played to a draw after Habibi Jusuf’s goal was canceled out by Yuran Fernandes’ penalty kick.

Coach Sergio Gomez’s decision to start Habibi Jusuf over Matheus Pato paid off — the 26-year-old striker managed to put Borneo FC ahead in the 30th minute.

The goal came from excellent combination play between M Sihran and Fajar Fathur — Fajar‘s low cross was converted by Habibi who made a clever movement to deceive the opposition defense.

Trailing by one goal, PSM Makassar showed more dominance despite playing away from home — they managed to level the score through Yuran Fernandes’ penalty conversion.
