Borneo FC Edge Past Persija 1-0 at Segiri Stadium

Borneo FC secured a narrow 1-0 win over Persija Jakarta in the 31st matchweek of the 2024–2025 Liga 1 season at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda.

Muhammad Sihran became the home side’s hero, scoring the only goal of the match in the 25th minute.

Borneo FC head coach Joaquin Gomez expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance.

“I think the players played in a very complete way. We built a team with very good players, and they performed above average,” said the Spanish coach.

Despite praising his squad, Gomez admitted there is still room for improvement — particularly in terms of finishing in front of goal.
