Borneo FC Coach Reacts to Lilipaly’s National Team Call-Up

Borneo FC coach Joaquin Gomez has responded to the call-up of two of his players to the Indonesia national football team, as announced by PSSI.

PSSI named 32 players selected by head coach Patrick Kluivert for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers. Among them are Stefano Lilipaly and Nadeo Argawinata from Borneo FC.

For Stefano Lilipaly, this marks a return to the national team after nearly two years. His last appearance came when Indonesia faced Turkmenistan at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya.

The Indonesia national football team will face China and Japan in the third round of the World Cup qualifiers, scheduled for June.
