Bojan Hodak reveals the reason behind Beckham Putra’s absence from the Indonesia national team

According to Kompas.com, Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak addressed Beckham Putra’s absence from Patrick Kluivert’s Indonesian national team squad.

Beckham Putra — who has recorded five goals and two assists in 22 appearances for Persib Bandung this season — was left out of the 30-player national team squad for the March international break.

Interestingly, no Persib Bandung players were included in the Indonesia National Team squad — despite the club leading the Liga 1 standings.

“I cannot comment on this; this is a question for the national team coach,” said Hodak.

Beckham’s consistent performances with the Maung Bandung squad, including his partnership with Tyronne del Pino in the forward line,  were apparently not enough to secure a national team call-up.
