Bojan Hodak not targeting title in 2025 President’s Cup

Bojan Hodak, Persib Bandung’s coach, confirms that the 2025 President’s Cup will be used as a preparation event — not for chasing championship title.

Maung Bandung has started training sessions since early July, but players’ physical condition hasn’t reached optimal level — along with tactical implementation that still needs adjustment.

“We will integrate the team and use this (President’s Cup) as preparation for league and Champions League qualification,” stated the Croatian coach.

“We are not physically fit enough yet,” he added.

Persib team’s main focus currently lies on improving players’ fitness and solidifying strategy — considering the upcoming League 1 competition schedule.
