Bhayangkara FC is taking a new step by relocating their home base to Lampung for the upcoming Liga 1 2025/2026 season — a move backed by support from the local government.

The club’s COO, Sumardji, highlighted Bhayangkara FC‘s history of relocations, which has seen them previously adopt several cities as their home, including:

  • Surabaya

  • Jakarta

  • Solo

  • Tegal

Regarding the length of the team’s stay in Lampung, Sumardji emphasized that the decision hinges on the local government — particularly Lampung Governor Rahmat Mirzani Djausal, who plays a key role in facilitating the relocation.

“Well, that depends on the Governor,” said Sumardji.

This move is expected to increase regional fan engagement and bring Liga 1 football closer to supporters in southern Sumatra, further expanding the league’s national reach.
