Bhayangkara FC moves to Lampung and changes name for next Liga 1 season

Bhayangkara FC — a Liga 1 2025-2026 promotion team — announces name change to Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC along with their relocation to Lampung Province.

The team that earned promotion as Liga 2 runners-up last season has appointed Paul Munster as head coach to face challenges in Indonesia’s top-flight football.

“It’s a process, step by step, moving to Lampung,” said Munster regarding the team’s relocation plan.

Currently, The Guardians are still based in Jakarta for training sessions — considering the Sumpah Pemuda Stadium in Lampung is undergoing renovation.
