Marco Bezzecchi Credits VR46 Academy for Aprilia Success

Marco Bezzecchi has emerged as one of the standout names in the MotoGP 2025 season, thanks to a string of impressive performances with the Aprilia factory team. The Italian rider attributes much of his success to the mentorship and training received at Valentino Rossi’s VR46 Academy.

“I have indeed developed a lot over the years, but every year you can learn something new. If you don’t develop, you will stagnate,” said Bezzecchi, reflecting on his progress.

His recent results show a sharp improvement in consistency and form. Over the last ten races, Bezzecchi has earned six top-five finishes, including second-place podiums at the Dutch GP and Czech GP.

Currently, the 26-year-old Aprilia rider sits fourth in the championship standings with 156 points — a position that has begun to raise eyebrows among rival manufacturers.

“In terms of fitness, I now know how to train properly and prepare myself to ride the bike. But when it comes to skills and racing instinct, there’s always more to learn,” he added.

Bezzecchi’s rise is not only a personal milestone but also a sign of Aprilia’s growing strength in the premier class — thanks to both technical development and rider support systems like VR46.
