Bezzecchi Satisfied with Aprilia’s Progress Despite Eighth Place Finish in Aragon

Marco Bezzecchi demonstrated remarkable skill in the Aragon feature race — advancing from 20th position to finish eighth behind Joan Mir and ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio.

This achievement echoes his success at Silverstone, where he claimed victory after race leader Fabio Quartararo encountered technical issues.

“I did my best from where I started. Looking at the positives, I’m certainly happy. I’m satisfied with my work and the entire team’s effort because the bike was working really well,” Bezzecchi stated.

Regarding qualifying challenges, the Italian rider explained how his role in bike development affects time attack preparation:

“Unfortunately, I can’t focus solely on time attacks as I’m practically alone in development. I have to try various things and provide good feedback.”

Meanwhile, his teammate Lorenzo Savadori — replacing injured 2024 champion Jorge Martin — emphasized the importance of qualifying improvements.

While acknowledging some areas still need enhancement, Bezzecchi confirmed that the Aprilia team continues to show positive progress heading into Aragon testing.
