Bezzecchi claims first Sprint podium with Aprilia at Assen

Marco Bezzecchi secured third place in the 2025 Dutch MotoGP Sprint, as reported by motogp.com.

The Aprilia Racing rider acknowledged difficulties in catching the Marquez duo — this has led his team to focus on improving several aspects of the bike for the main race.

“It’s been a long time since I got a podium on Saturday and this is also my first with Aprilia,” said Bezzecchi. “This result gives me motivation and means we’re working well.”

Speaking about his rival, Bezzecchi assessed that Francesco Bagnaia has different characteristics in each type of race.

“Usually in sprints he struggles, while on Sundays he’s a killer, so I expect him to make things difficult for me tomorrow,” he explained.

Notably, the Italian rider previously claimed a Sprint victory at the same circuit about two years ago.
