Bezzecchi and Acosta record identical times in Italian MotoGP FP1

Marco Bezzecchi from Aprilia and Pedro Acosta from Red Bull KTM created a rare moment in the first free practice session of the Italian MotoGP at Mugello Circuit — both recorded identical lap times of 1 minute 46.199 seconds.

The 45-minute session was initially led by Jack Miller from Pramac Yamaha — the Australian rider set a time of 1 minute 48.025 seconds. Then Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati took over the top spot with a time of 1 minute 46.651 seconds.

Bagnaia showed promising performance with 340mm diameter brakes in the first corner, but his advantage didn’t last long — Bezzecchi managed to take the top position with a gap of 0.247 seconds. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez from Ducati had to settle for fifth position with a gap of 0.696 seconds from the leader.
