Prediksi Betis vs Chelsea di Final Liga Konferensi (29.05.2025)

The final match of the UEFA Conference League between Betis and Chelsea will take place on May 29, 2025, at 02:00 WIB in Wrocław, Poland. Bookmakers consider the London club the favorite. Let’s take a look at the current form of both teams and give our prediction for the game.

Betis

The Green-and-Whites were considered one of the main contenders for the Conference League title even before the tournament started. That view didn’t change despite Betis having a poor start in the group stage. They came very close to missing out on the playoffs, and only two consecutive wins in the final rounds allowed them to finish 15th in the group standings and qualify.

In the knockout stages, the Spanish club looked much more confident. Betis eliminated the following teams: Gent (3–1 on aggregate), Vitória Guimarães (6–2), Jagiellonia (3–1), and Fiorentina (4–3). It’s worth noting that their performance improved significantly in the second half of the season, with solid results and confident play. In La Liga, Manuel Pellegrini’s men finished sixth and secured a place in the next season’s Europa League.

Chelsea

Chelsea were seen as the tournament favorites from the beginning, and they proved it during the Conference League group stage, where they faced no real competition. The Blues won all six matches by large margins, with a combined score of 26–5 after six rounds.

However, the team returned to the playoffs in a much different form. Unlike their upcoming opponent, Enzo Maresca’s squad struggled in the second half of the season, frequently dropping points. As a result, they nearly finished as low as seventh in the Premier League — a far cry from being considered Liverpool’s main competitor back in the winter.

In the Conference League knockout rounds, Chelsea didn’t look as dominant. Although they won each tie on aggregate, the performances lacked the same authority: against Copenhagen (3–1), Legia Warsaw (4–2), and Djurgården (5–1).

Statistics and Head-to-Head

The two teams have only met twice before — in the 2005 UEFA Champions League group stage. Each side won its home match: Chelsea 4–0 in London, Betis 1–0 in Seville.

Prediction

For the Betis vs Chelsea match, we predict a competitive game. The English side no longer looks as strong as earlier in the tournament, while the Spanish team has clearly improved. Since this is a battle for the trophy, neither team will want to take excessive risks, so the game could very well go into extra time.

We expect Betis to put up a real fight, so our recommendation is to bet on Betis with a +1 handicap at odds of 1.58.
