A surprising moment unfolded during the PGL Wallachia Season 4 group stage match between BetBoom and Aurora Gaming last night (22/04), as viewers witnessed BB’s carry Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko execute a Fountain dive in the decisive game.

During the match, BB dominated the late game, cornering Aurora Gaming into their Fountain and forcing them into a defensive stance. Pure, who was relentlessly pressuring Aurora’s players at their base, seemed impatient and made a bold move that ultimately led to the deaths of two teammates.

At around the 38-minute mark, the Russian player decided to dive into the enemy Fountain and initiate an attack from within. His teammates, Matvey “MieRo” Vasyunin and Danil “gpk” Skutin, followed his lead, successfully eliminating one Aurora player but dying in the process.

BB sealed the victory at the 41-minute mark, closing the series 2-1. Shortly after, Pure clarified during the PGL Wallachia S4 post-match interview that his Fountain dive was intentional—driven by exhaustion and a desire to end the match swiftly.

“To be honest, I was pretty tired. It was an exhausting match, on the second and third map I played like crazy. We arrived well before the match started. PGL requires you to arrive 2-3 hours before the start of the series for some reason. It was a long day. I’m tired, but everyone enjoyed playing”

BB has now completed all their group stage matches and awaits the outcome of tonight’s final game to determine their opponent in the upper bracket playoffs.
