Bernardo Tavares to miss PSM’s ACC semifinal match

Bernardo Tavares — PSM Makassar’s head coach — cannot accompany his team against CAHN FC in tonight’s ASEAN Club Championship semifinal, according to Antara.

The Portuguese coach’s absence stems from accumulating two yellow cards during the match against Dong Thanh Hoa — resulting in his mandatory suspension from the team bench.

“I won’t be on the bench. This is the first time as both player and coach that I cannot be on the bench,” stated Tavares.

This suspension marks a first-time experience for Tavares — throughout his career as both player and coach — preventing him from directly supporting his team from the sidelines.
