According to New Straits Times, Brazilian striker Bergson Da Silva — who plays alongside Jordi Amat at Johor Darul Takzim — is undergoing the naturalization process to join the Malaysia national team.

Malaysia national team coach Peter Cklamovski confirms he will provide a spot in the Harimau Malaysia squad for the player who has spent five years in his career in the country.

“Bergson is a player with extraordinary potential. If he meets all naturalization requirements, he will be called into the squad,” said Cklamovski.

“He seems enthusiastic about playing for the country, and that will be a fantastic combination. He is a goalscorer and very dangerous in the penalty box,” added the Australian coach.

The addition of Bergson Da Silva to the Harimau Malaysia squad could significantly bolster the team’s offensive capabilities.

His experience in the Malaysian league and proven goal-scoring ability— make him an attractive asset for the national team.

As the national team prepares for upcoming international fixtures— fans will eagerly await further updates on his naturalization status and potential debut.
