Former Paper Rex and Global Esports in-game leader Tan “Benkai” Benedict recently praised Indonesian Valorant players for their impressive performances in the ongoing VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1 circuit.

In the latest episode of Yap2Asia, the Singaporean pro player commented on the rising number of rising stars in the VCT Pacific 2025 competition, particularly from regions outside Southeast Asia. However, he emphasized that Indonesia has stood out the most due to their extraordinary performances so far.

“I think Indonesia produces the best players so far. A lot of teams in Pacific have a lot of stars, majority of them are outside SEA, they are imports. But in terms of quality, Indonesia has the best talent pool,” he remarked.

He cited his former PRX teammates, Aaron “mindfreak” Leonhart and Jason “f0rsaken” Susanto, as prime examples of Indonesia’s elite talent. Additonally, he highlighted veterans like Hansel “BnteT” Ferdinand and Kevin “xccurate” Susanto, now playing for T1, as some of the toughest Indonesian he faced during his CSGO career.

Beyond these players, the spotlight in VCT Pacific 2025 has shifted to Boom Esports and RRQ, who dominated the group stage. Both teams have shown significant improvement compared to their performances in the previous season.
