Beckham Putra Likely to Receive Indonesia National Team Call-Up After Impressive Form with Persib Bandung

Beckham Putra, a young midfielder from Persib Bandung, is reportedly on the radar for a potential Indonesia national team call-up this June, thanks to his solid performances this season.

In March, Indonesia head coach Patrick Kluivert did not select any Persib Bandung players for the international break. However, Beckham’s consistent form under Bojan Hodak may change that situation.

The younger brother of Gian Zola, Beckham has previously represented Indonesia U-19 and U-23, but is yet to earn his senior debut — even during the tenure of former head coach Shin Tae-yong.

In the current Liga 1 2024-2025 season, he has scored two goals in 22 appearances, making a strong case as Persib’s secret weapon in midfield.
