Barcelona delivered a stunning display at the Olympic Stadium, cruising to a 4-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.

Veteran striker Robert Lewandowski netted twice against his former club, taking his tally to 99 goals in a Barcelona shirt. Raphinha opened the scoring, and Lamine Yamal capped off the rout, giving Barcelona a huge advantage ahead of the second leg in Dortmund.

“I think we played very well, but we have one more game to go,” said Lewandowski. “We always want to play our game and go there to win. That’s always the objective.”

Coach Hansi Flick applauded the squad’s relentless attacking approach, which has fueled a 23-match unbeaten streak across all competitions.

Key stats from Barcelona’s Champions League campaign:

  • 36 goals scored in 11 matches

  • Raphinha leads the UCL scoring chart with 12 goals

  • Lewandowski follows with 11 goals

  • 4+ goals scored in 21 of 48 matches this season

The return leg in Dortmund will determine who advances, but Barcelona’s dominant performance puts them in pole position to reach their first UCL semifinal since 2019.
