Barcelona Target Two Left Wingers for Next Season

According to Fabrizio Romano, Nico Williams has reached personal terms with Barcelona for a six-year contract — the Athletic Bilbao winger agreed to reduce his salary from 10 million to 7-8 million euros per season.

Athletic Bilbao has set a firm condition for Barcelona — the Catalan club must pay the release clause of 58 million euros to acquire Williams.

“If they want him, let them pay the clause, period,” stated a source from the Basque club.

Besides Williams, Barcelona is also targeting Marcus Rashford who is struggling to secure a place at Manchester United — the 27-year-old player was even loaned to Aston Villa last season.

Barcelona plans to bring Rashford on a loan deal as most of their transfer budget will be used to activate Williams’ clause — Rashford’s presence is considered important given that Robert Lewandowski will be 37 years old in 2026.
