Barcelona ready to sign Nico Williams with 6-year contract

According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Nico Williams is one step closer to joining Barcelona — the club has reached personal terms with the Athletic Bilbao winger.

The initial agreement includes a 6-year contract that would keep Williams at Camp Nou until 2031. The talented winger has also shown his commitment by agreeing to a salary reduction — from 10 million euros to around 7-8 million euros per season.

The next challenge for Barcelona is negotiations with Athletic Bilbao. The Basque club has stated that Barcelona must meet the release clause to secure Williams’ signature.
