Barcelona plans to sell Ronald Araujo due to financial troubles

Football Espana reports that Ronald Araujo — Barcelona’s key defender nicknamed the Uruguayan Buffalo — has been put on the transfer list due to the renewed financial crisis.

This situation emerged after LaLiga rejected Barcelona’s proposal to include 100 million euros from VIP seat sales in the club’s books — a decision that has disrupted the club’s financial ratio.

Barcelona had just achieved the 1:1 financial ratio required by LaLiga regulations in January — however, this status lasted only about two months before returning to crisis conditions.
