Barcelona officially signs Swedish wonderkid from FC Copenhagen

Barcelona has announced the acquisition of young Swedish winger, Roony Bardghji, from FC Copenhagen for a transfer fee of 2.5 million euros or approximately 47 billion rupiah.

The former teammate of Kevin Diks at FC Copenhagen — who was targeted by several elite European clubs — will join Barcelona’s B team or Barca Atletic.

“FC Barcelona and FC Copenhagen have reached an agreement for the transfer of Roony Bardghji. The winger will sign a contract with the club for four seasons until June 30, 2029,” stated Barcelona’s official announcement.

This transfer becomes Barcelona’s strategic move to strengthen their B team’s attacking line — while providing a backup option for Lamine Yamal in the first team.
