Barcelona meets with Xavi Simons’ representatives to discuss return

According to Diario AS, Barcelona held a secret meeting with Xavi Simons‘ representatives at a Catalunya hotel — the meeting lasted for 45 minutes.

Sports Director Deco represented Barcelona in discussions about the possible return of the 22-year-old player to the Catalan club — Simons currently plays for RB Leipzig in Bundesliga.

While Barcelona is interested in bringing back their former academy player who is performing impressively in Germany — the transfer in summer 2025 window is predicted to be difficult due to several obstacles.
