Barcelona Won’t Replace Lewandowski Next Season

Quoting Bolasport.com, Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, emphasized that Barcelona has no plans to look for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski in the upcoming transfer window.

The Polish striker joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich three years ago — with a transfer fee of 50 million euros.

His first season with Barcelona was outstanding — Lewandowski scored 33 goals and provided 8 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions, helping the club win the La Liga title.

Although his performance declined in the second season, which impacted the team’s overall success, Barcelona continues to place its trust in their star striker.
