Bali United starts pre-season training with new Dutch coach

Bali United has started their pre-season training sessions for the 2025-2026 competition with a new approach — under the guidance of Dutch coach Johnny Jansen.

Jansen — who previously managed Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle — brings Dutch football experience to Indonesia to lead the Bali United squad.

Bali United winger Yabes Roni has responded positively to the training methods implemented by his new coach. Jansen’s coaching style — which emphasizes tactical aspects and ball possession — has been well received by the players.

“Every coach has their different training style but the goal remains the same – to score against opponents,” states Roni.
