Bali United Signs Versatile Dutch Player for Liga 1

Bali United has announced the signing of versatile Dutch player — Thijmen Goppel for the Liga 1 2025/2026 competition.

The 28-year-old joins after his last season with German third division club Wehen Wiesbaden — where he scored six goals and provided eight assists in 32 appearances.

Before his career at Wehen Wiesbaden, Goppel gained experience playing for several other German clubs:

• SV Eintracht Trier
• SG Dynamo Dresden
• KSV Hessen Kassel

“Thijmen Goppel is a multi-position player for this season based on the coaching team’s needs,” said Bali United CEO, Yabes Tanuri.

The arrival of the Dutch player is part of coach Johnny Jansen’s plan to strengthen Serdadu Tridatu’s attacking line for the upcoming season.
