Bali United signs Dutch goalkeeper from Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle

Bali United has announced the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Mike Hauptmeijer from Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle.

The 190 cm tall shot-stopper — who served as second-choice goalkeeper at PEC Zwolle with four appearances last season — has decided to leave the club he has represented for 16 years for the first time.

“I want to focus on winning matches, making the supporters happy and being useful for Bali United,” said Hauptmeijer.

Interestingly, the 28-year-old keeper had just extended his contract with PEC Zwolle until 2027 last year — meaning Bali United had to pay a transfer fee to secure his services with a market value of 1.74 billion rupiah.
