Bali United signs Brazilian center-back from PSIS Semarang

Bali United officially announces the signing of Brazilian center-back Joao Ferrari, who previously defended PSIS Semarang.

The announcement of Ferrari’s arrival — made by the club this Tuesday — marks Bali United’s strategic move to strengthen their defensive line.

The Brazilian player showed convincing performance last season — recording 34 appearances with PSIS Semarang while contributing two goals and one assist.

Despite Ferrari’s consistent performance, PSIS Semarang — known as Mahesa Jenar — had to accept the bitter reality of relegation after finishing at the bottom of Liga 1 standings in the 2024-2025 season.
