Bali United Appoint Johnny Jansen as New Head Coach

Bali United have officially appointed Johnny Jansen as their new head coach, replacing Stefano Cugurra, commonly known as Teco, who led the club since 2019.

The 50-year-old Dutchman last managed PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie and brings a wealth of experience from his time in the Netherlands. Notably, he once coached Indonesia national team midfielder Eliano Reijnders.

During his managerial career, Jansen has faced some of the top names in football, including Arne Slot and Erik Ten Hag. However, his record against Slot stands at just one win from six encounters.

This appointment signals a new chapter for Bali United, one of the most competitive teams in the Indonesian Liga 1 in recent seasons.
