Bahrain Coach Wary of Indonesia’s Volleyball Team Strength in AVC Nations Cup

Bahrain Coach Wary of Indonesia’s Volleyball Team Strength in AVC Nations Cup

After securing a convincing 3-1 victory over Thailand, Bahrain’s volleyball team led by Arnaud Josserand now prepares for a tougher challenge — facing host Indonesia in the AVC Nations Cup 2025.

Despite their impressive opening performance, Bahrain cannot underestimate the strength of the team powered by Rivan Nurmulki and teammates — especially with the full support of home fans expected to pack the venue.

“I’m very happy with the players’ performance. This is a good start for us, but the next match might be more difficult than against Thailand,” stated Josserand.

“Currently I haven’t received Indonesia’s match videos. I will monitor their performance in their first match to develop our strategy,” added the Bahrain coach.

Josserand acknowledges his team needs extra preparation facing Indonesia — the combination of the host’s solid gameplay and intimidating stadium atmosphere could pose a serious threat to Bahrain.
