Bagnaia Admits Struggles with Ducati Bike This Season

Francesco Bagnaia has openly acknowledged his struggles with the Ducati Desmosedici GP25 this season. While his teammate Marc Marquez has already notched up three victories, Bagnaia has managed just one win and currently sits third in the MotoGP riders’ standings.

After a frustrating outing at Le Mans, Bagnaia confessed the team may need to reset their approach entirely.

“I hope my best performance will return soon. At Le Mans everything was fine until Saturday morning. I was happy with the feeling and competitive on used tires. But from qualifying until Sunday’s race, it became a nightmare,” said Bagnaia.

Front-End Feeling the Main Concern for Ducati Star

Ducati engineers are working intensively to resolve issues with the GP25, particularly the front-end feeling—a key component in Bagnaia’s riding confidence.

“Le Mans was the worst moment because I took no points,” he continued. “Right now, I’m struggling, especially with the front. It’s not giving me the feeling I need. I know Ducati is working hard to fix this because they understand that with the right feeling, I can fight for wins.”

Despite the difficulties, Bagnaia remains optimistic about turning his season around as the MotoGP calendar progresses.
