Francesco Bagnaia faces a challenging situation in his career at Ducati factory team — the Italian rider trails significantly behind his teammate Marc Marquez in the 2025 MotoGP season.

After 10 races this season, the 2022 and 2023 MotoGP world champion languishes in third place with 181 points — trailing Marc Marquez at the top by 126 points and Alex Marquez in second position by 58 points.
