Bagnaia returns to standard brake setup for 2025 Italian MotoGP

Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo team has decided to return to standard brake discs ahead of the 2025 Italian MotoGP at Mugello Circuit.

The 5.245-kilometer Mugello Circuit stands as a sacred ground for Italian riders — where Bagnaia’s mentor, Valentino Rossi, still holds the record with seven victories.

Bagnaia arrives at Mugello with positive momentum after podium finish at Aragon GP, where he used 355mm brake discs compared to the standard 340mm used by Marc Marquez.

  • Italian MotoGP Champion 2023
  • Italian MotoGP Champion 2024
  • Sprint race and main race winner 2024

The use of larger brake discs in Aragon helped Bagnaia regain his front-end feeling that was missing early in the season.
