Francesco Bagnaia has expressed his pride in having multiple-time world champion Marc Marquez as his teammate at the Ducati factory team for the 2025 MotoGP season.

The Italian manufacturer has displayed remarkable dominance in the opening two rounds with Marquez securing victories in both sprint and main races in Thailand and Argentina.

Meanwhile, Bagnaia’s performance has yet to reach optimal levels with the Desmosedici GP25 — the defending champion had to settle for third place in both Thailand sessions, followed by third in the sprint race and fourth in the main race in Argentina.

Despite the challenging start, Bagnaia remains optimistic about improving his pace and adapting to the new GP25 machine. He acknowledges the strong competition within Ducati, especially with Marquez’s early dominance, but believes that consistent performance and technical adjustments will allow him to close the gap in the upcoming races.

With the next round set to take place at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Texas, Bagnaia aims to deliver a stronger performance and challenge Marquez for Ducati’s top position.
