Bagnaia Frustrated with Ducati GP25 Performance at Italian MotoGP

Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo team expressed his disappointment with the Desmosedici GP25 motorcycle performance — an issue that became increasingly evident during the Italian MotoGP at Mugello Circuit.

The two-time world champion had to swallow disappointing results at his home race — finishing fourth in the main race after previously securing third position in the Sprint Race.

The situation became more concerning as Bagnaia fell behind other Ducati riders:

  • Marc Marquez with identical GP25
  • Alex Marquez using last year’s GP24
  • Fabio Di Giannantonio also riding GP25

“I’m halfway giving up dealing with GP25 difficulties,” Bagnaia stated plainly.

His aggressive strategy at the race start caused tire wear faster than Marc Marquez who chose a calmer approach — but the main issue lies in his discomfort with the new motorcycle.
