Bagnaia Complains about GP25 Front Tire Issues, Praises Marquez’s Abilities

Francesco Bagnaia is experiencing growing frustration with Ducati’s GP25 machine, as he continues to battle with front-end handling issues that have impacted his confidence and performance this season.

The Italian rider—who is a protégé of Valentino Rossi—believes Ducati’s engineering and management team need to better understand that his riding style differs significantly from that of Marc Marquez.

Front tire problems limit Bagnaia’s performance

Bagnaia has pinpointed the front tire as his biggest challenge this season. Unlike last year’s GP24, which provided strong front-end feedback, the 2025 model has left him feeling disconnected and uneasy during hard braking.

“I have repeatedly emphasized since the beginning of the season. I cannot feel the front tire in this year’s version of the bike,”
said Bagnaia.
“When I brake hard entering corners, I feel the front tire will slip. It severely limits me.”

High praise for Marquez’s adaptability

Despite his difficulties, Bagnaia had high praise for his teammate Marc Marquez, whose seamless transition to Ducati has impressed many in the paddock.

“As for Marc Marquez, I feel he could ride even a tractor and still be strong,”
he added, underlining Marquez’s remarkable adaptability and natural racing instinct.
