Bagnaia Faces Tough Challenge in Czech MotoGP Qualifying

According to MotoSan, Francesco Bagnaia faced difficulties on the opening day of the 2025 Czech MotoGP at Brno Circuit — the Ducati Lenovo rider had to settle for 13th position.

The partially wet track conditions made it challenging for the 28-year-old rider to find his best rhythm — he now must go through Q1 qualifying to advance to Q2.

“It was a good day from the start, despite the completely messy strategy at the end, but these things can happen. The important thing is to stay calm because tomorrow is a new day,” said Bagnaia.

The Italian rider acknowledged mistakes in tire choice and pit stop timing — the decision to use soft tires at the end of the session proved incorrect.

“This track is practically new for everyone in these conditions. The season is already complicated and we made mistakes here that made the situation more difficult,” added Bagnaia.
