Bagnaia at Risk of Losing His MotoGP 2025 Championship Title Defense

According to Bolasport.com, Francesco Bagnaia faces a challenging situation in defending his MotoGP 2025 world championship title. The Ducati Lenovo rider now trails his teammate — Marc Marquez by 168 points.

Bagnaia’s performance this season falls significantly behind Marquez’s dominance with the Desmosedici GP25 machine. The Italian rider has claimed just one victory, while Marquez has won 19 out of 24 Sprint and GP races.

The situation worsened during last week’s Czech MotoGP at Brno Circuit. Despite securing pole position, Bagnaia only managed seventh in the Sprint Race and fourth in the main race.

This marks the second consecutive season where Bagnaia risks losing the world championship to a fellow Ducati rider — following last year’s battle with Jorge Martin from Pramac Racing that went down to the final round.
