Bagnaia faces performance decline ahead of Dutch MotoGP

Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo team faces difficult situation ahead of the 10th round of 2025 Dutch MotoGP this weekend — his reputation as a two-time world champion is being questioned.

The Italian rider experiences significant performance decline — even struggling to finish second due to the dominance of his teammate Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez from BK8 Gresini Racing team.

“The weekend at Mugello left a bitter taste,” stated Bagnaia ahead of the Dutch round. “In the race I tried everything possible to stay in front and maintain pace with the strongest riders.”

A series of disappointing results has plagued Bagnaia — failing to reach podium in Qatar GP, Spain GP, and recently in Italy, a circuit that had been his stronghold since 2022.
