Bagnaia Emerges as Qatar MotoGP Favorite after Americas Victory

Francesco Bagnaia shows signs of resurgence ahead of the fourth round of 2025 Qatar MotoGP — his first victory this season at GP Americas serves as valuable momentum.

“The maximum result is not losing too many points, or gaining in the next two series,” Bagnaia stated after the season opener in Thailand.

His Ducati teammate, Marc Marquez, who previously dominated in Argentina and Americas — now trails after making a mistake in the last race. The 11-point gap between them still allows for position changes in the near future.

However, Alex Marquez from BK8 Gresini Racing leads the current standings — his consistency in finishing second with the older Ducati motorcycle has been key to his success.
