Bagnaia Disappointed with Tire Performance at 2025 Italian GP

Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo team faced serious challenges during the 2025 Italian MotoGP at Mugello Circuit — a track where he had previously claimed victory three consecutive times.

The Turin-born rider showed early dominance by leading ahead of the Marquez duo. However, after the first five laps — his motorcycle’s performance declined dramatically due to front tire issues.

“When the front tire was gone, I had to back off. I could get close to Alex but couldn’t attack,” Bagnaia told Motorsport.

“I’m angry because I know I could have won this race, but I felt unable to do it. This season I can’t achieve the speeds I usually do,” he added.
