Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali observed the positive results achieved by his star rider Francesco Bagnaia at GP Americas 2025 in Circuit of the Americas, Austin, Texas — a significant moment for the Italian rider.

Bagnaia’s first main race victory this season marks an encouraging achievement — considering he had previously been overshadowed by his teammate Marc Marquez in the opening two rounds.

The rider nicknamed Baby Alien, Marc Marquez, had dominated the first two races of the season in Thailand and Argentina with complete victories. His dominance continued through the GP Americas sprint session — but ended with a crash while leading the main race.

This opportunity was well utilized by Valentino Rossi’s proud student to secure his first victory, although the result was tinged with disappointment from Marquez who had shown dominance in qualifying and sprint sessions.
