Aston Villa Joins Race to Sign Jay Idzes

According to Transferfeed, Jay Idzes — the Indonesian national team captain playing for Venezia — has emerged as a transfer target for Aston Villa in this summer’s transfer window.

The Premier League club’s interest comes after Jay Idzes‘s impressive performances for Venezia — despite the team’s relegation from Serie A this season.

“Aston Villa has shown interest in Jay Idzes following Venezia’s relegation, where he was appointed captain by Eusebio di Francisco due to his excellent performance,” Transferfeed stated.

The 190 cm defender has also attracted interest from several Serie A clubs — Udinese has submitted an offer worth 5 to 6 million euros, while Bologna, Fiorentina, and Genoa have also shown serious interest.
