Asnawi Mangkualam and Muhammad Ferrari were selected by PSSI to represent Indonesia in the ASEAN All-Stars squad. However, their respective clubs have given different responses to their participation in the upcoming match against Manchester United.

Port FC has officially allowed Asnawi Mangkualam to join the ASEAN All-Stars team for their match against Manchester United. The match will take place at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, on May 28, 2025. Port FC also released their local player, Peeradol Chamrasamee, to represent Thailand in this prestigious event.

“Ready for a great show against Manchester United. Port FC duo Peeradol Chamrasamee and Asnawi Mangkualam have been invited to join ASEAN All-Stars to face Manchester United for the 2024-2025 Post-Season tour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia,” wrote Port FC in their official statement.

On the other hand, Persija Jakarta, Muhammad Ferrari’s club, has made it clear that they will not release their player to join the ASEAN All-Stars team for the match against Manchester United. This decision has drawn attention, given the significance of the event.

With Asnawi Mangkualam representing Indonesia alongside Peeradol Chamrasamee of Thailand, and Muhammad Ferrari staying with his club, this upcoming match against Manchester United is shaping up to be an exciting showcase of ASEAN talent. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see how these dynamics unfold as the event approaches.
