ASEAN U-23 Championship 2025 kicks off in Indonesia with 10 participating teams

The ASEAN U-23 Championship 2025 — officially named as the ASEAN U-23 Mandiri Cup — will be hosted in Indonesia from July 15 to July 29.

The competition will feature ten ASEAN Football Federation member nations — with Singapore and Australia opting out of this year’s tournament.

The matches will be played at two venues:
* Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta
* Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi

On the opening day, Team Indonesia secured a commanding 8-0 victory over Brunei Darussalam, while Team Philippines defeated Malaysia 2-0.

The competition format stipulates that only group winners and the best runner-up will advance to the semifinals. Given the uneven number of teams across groups, results against the bottom team in Group A will not count towards determining the best runner-up.

All ASEAN U-23 Championship 2025 matches can be watched on SCTV, Indosiar, and Vidio for Indonesian viewers, while international audiences can tune in through the ASEAN United FC YouTube channel.
