AS Monaco Interested in Signing Andre Onana from Manchester United

According to L’Equipe, AS Monaco has shown interest in signing goalkeeper Andre Onana from Manchester United. The Red Devils are ready to release the Cameroonian player for 20 million pounds — far below his purchase value of 47.2 million pounds when brought in from Inter Milan.

Onana’s decline in performance at Old Trafford has made Manchester United struggle to find interested clubs — despite significantly lowering his selling price.

AS Monaco — who will compete in the Champions League next season — needs an experienced goalkeeper to strengthen the team. Coach Adi Hutter is not yet satisfied with the current goalkeepers:

  • Philipp Kohn
  • Radoslaw Majecki

Onana’s experience in taking Inter Milan to the Champions League final in the 2022-2023 season becomes a plus point that makes Monaco interested in signing him.
